Liisa took the modelling world by storm when she became the Gucci “It” Girl landing three consecutive contracts in 1999 & 2000. Liisa started at Mode Elle in 1993 at the age of 15, and since then has traveled the world. Described as “breathtakingly beautiful” by Tom Ford, Gucci’s former designer & creative director, Liisa entered the world of the supermodel, modelling side by side with Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Gisele, Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow & Kate Moss. Liisa was discovered by Mode Elle owner Audra Anderson while she was back to school shopping at the Quinte Mall with her mother and best friend. Although hesitant at first, Liisa was encouraged to enter Mode Elle’s Model Search where she placed as a finalist, but did not win overall. The following year, Liisa completed a modelling course and attended the prestigious Canadian Model & Talent Convention….and the rest is history! Liisa’s modelling career has taken her to locations such as Australia, South Africa, Paris, Milan, London, Bali & Thailand to name just a few.
