Audra got her start in the industry at the age of seventeen as a model with Elite Model Management. Throughout her eight-year modelling career, she was booked for fashion shows, magazines, catalogs, print campaigns, music videos, and television commercials. Audra’s involvement in the industry later expanded into the business side of modelling. She headed up the men’s division as a booking agent for Penny Noble which is now recognized as one of the top talent agencies in Toronto, Noble Abrams Caplan.
Audra brought her experience, industry knowledge, and contacts to her hometown of Belleville to accomplish two goals: firstly, to start a family with her husband and, secondly, to develop and promote local aspiring models and talent who have the potential to work in the modelling and entertainment industries. After twenty-seven years of successfully training and promoting models and talent through Mode Elle, Audra launched a new division – Anderson Talent Management – to promote serious actors to top Toronto casting directors. Audra has countless success stories to her credit and the list continues to grow!
Audra believes that models and actors must be beautiful both inside and out. She will tell you that you must be confident, professional, and motivated as well as kind and humble. More importantly, however, you must have a positive personality – one that anticipates happiness, health, and success in any situation – in order to excel in the competitive world of modelling and acting.
Furthermore, Audra is a firm believer that “all models should be role models.” Consequently, she encourages models and talent on her roster to give back to their communities and dedicate themselves to charitable causes; in this respect, she hopes to lead by example. In addition to being a member of “100+ Women Who Care Quinte” since 2015, Audra has dedicated her time and resources to several causes such as:
- Sea Shepherd Conservation Society,
- Ric O’Barry’s Dolphin Project,
- World Wildlife Fund Canada,
- David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage,
- World Vision,
- Alzheimer’s Society, and
- Kids Help Phone.
